Delta Disaster Services is a full-service commercial and residential property restoration firm. Our staff and rapid-response crews are on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, ready to be dispatched at a moment’s notice to anywhere within our two-hour response area. From the moment we arrive on site, our objective is plain: We’re here to restore damaged property and valuables to the condition they were in before the disaster, and we’ll do everything in our power to make the process as brief and painless as possible. All of our personnel are highly trained and certified in their respective areas of mitigation and restoration. Our employees are well-groomed, professional and wear company logoed apparel at all times on the job. We know the insurance industry and will work closely with the insurance carrier to assist them in creating a smooth, efficient, and fair settlement.

Position Summary:

The coordinator will work with technicians, the lead coordinator, and mitigation supervisor to provide outstanding customer service. This position includes scheduling all employees and subcontractors for daily work and any after-hours calls, notifying the client of work that needs to be performed the day before, setting up the job & maintaining job information in our software program on a daily basis.

Candidate must be able to converse with insurance adjusters, property owners and internal staff. This position will require some overtime and being on call after hours for one week per month.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Intake new losses via phone, email, and fax.
  • Manage Technician daily scheduling.
  • Update DMS for job status, documentation of communication from insurance and customer.
  • Update CRM program daily.
  • Verify Field Paperwork is up to date before technicians leave job-site.
  • Input Moisture Mapper and data entry for MICA.
  • On-Call Rotation (average 1 week per Month).
  • Present all active projects meetings.
  • Daily Morning Mitigation meeting
  • Weekly Production Meeting
  • Weekly Meeting with Mitigation Manager
  • Update Dropbox daily with status updates, files, and move for finalized billing.
  • Scheduling Subcontractors for work.
  • Schedule and obtain approvals for asbestos abatement.
  • Gain approvals for projects from carriers/customers.
  • Ordering materials testing for mold and asbestos for jobs.
  • Reviews work site and completed technician paperwork prior to releasing projects.
  • Other Duties assigned by manager

Education & or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or
  • Possible experience within the

Language Skills: Read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.

Reasoning Ability: Must be able to exercise good judgment and to understand and carry out written and/or oral instructions, along with sound problem solving ability. Perform math calculations.

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and maintain a safe driving record, no more than 6 points within the past 12 months.

  • Must be able to clear in-depth Background Check: You must have no felony or misdemeanor conviction that considered “crimes against others” are allowed within the past seven years. This background check will at a minimum include an investigation for, and review of, any (i) state and federal felony convictions; and (ii) misdemeanor convictions involving (a) intentional injury or loss, to person or property or (b) endangerment of others while under the influence of alcohol or other substances, and any pending deferred adjudications with respect to any of the above, as allowed by law (collectively “Convictions”) for at least the seven years prior to the effective date of this Agreement or the Addendum pursuant to which such Employee is providing services (the “Applicable Period”). Any other convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
