SAS Clinical Programmer

Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare SDTM and ADaM datasets per CDISC guidelines and programming specifications

Write or modify SAS programs to generate datasets, tables, listings, and figures

Develop SAS macros and templates including coding and testing

Create and maintain programming documents; document changes to SAS code, programs, specifications

Identify and edit checks for ongoing trials to identify study conduct or data quality issues

Analyze SAS code for corrections, enhancement

Familiarity with ODS outputs, PROC REPORT, PROC TEMPLATE

Qualifications:
Skill Requirements:
SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/ODS, SAS/SQL

Familiarity with R preferred, not required

Education/Training/Experience Requirements:
Have advanced knowledge/experience programming in SAS (2 years minimum, preferably industry): SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/ODS, SAS/SQL

Working knowledge of good programming practices, basic statistics, GCP, ICH guidelines

Ability to work independently and support multiple projects and electronic submission to regulatory agencies

Excellent communication required
