SAP Resource Planning Master Data Industrial Engineer

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Work with cross-functionally linked manufacturing, planning and technical support teams to assist in process understanding, identify weaknesses and gaps, and drive for continuous improvement in data management.
    • Proactively audit SAP data, CTM results, and BE Manufacturing data in CSM. Identify misalignment issues in the data and implement corrective actions to assure data quality.
    • Establish existing processes and data quality metrics to define quality goals that support on-going improvement.
    • Measure and document improvements in data quality as processes are implemented.
    • Develop process documentation to aid in knowledge transfer for customers and future team members for training.
    • Attend required meetings, including off shift, and be able to facilitate meetings when circumstances require.
    • Maintain an open and collaborative relationship with GSM and Manufacturing Planning partners globally.
  • Experience:
    • Backend manufacturing experience preferred including process, product and equipment nomenclature.
    • Working knowledge of SAP.
    • Proficient computer and software skills within Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint applications preferred.
    • Preferred experience working with SQL to develop data validation rules in Information Steward.
    • Preferred experience with process modeling software in one or more (IGrafx, Enterprise Architect, Visio)
    • Preferred experience with reporting software like (Crystal, ProClarity, Tableau) and preferably developing own reports in one or more of those environments.
  • Skills and Requirements:
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel is a requirement.
    • Proven ability to learn independently and manage time with little supervision.
    • Proven ability to multi-task, be extremely detail oriented, and solve problems.
    • Ability to work in an ever-changing, high pressure, fast paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills.
    • Ability to give and receive constructive and positive feedback.
    • Willingness to work off shift hours to provide direction to Backend manufacturing areas worldwide.
    • Willingness to provide face to face training of planning personnel worldwide.
    • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Educational Requirements:
    • Experience in a related job field (Material Planning, Resource Planning, Data Management) inside or outside of Micron.
    • Preferred Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science
