SAP Finance Functional Consultant

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

Work with business process owners to develop new organizational roles to fulfill the “To-Be” business processes Work with functional team to fully understand the global template for Finance in SAP Provide input to the evolution of the Finance global template Educate Functional/Process leadership on the benefits of the “To-Be” design and the change implications for their organization. Execute the redesigned business process in SAP ERP System during the Solution Validation phase to confirm that business requirements have been satisfied Capture, assess and prioritize key business requirement gaps from all sites that are part of a deployment project. Reconcile differences between current business processes and lead the team to consensus Empowered to make decisions driving to the best business process to keep project moving forward within the Global Template Work with Functional process owners during the deployment process to ensure business ownership throughout the program Be a champion of the CP/S(Common Processes/Solutions) solution and assist in change management activities Learn the SAP system to the standard required and ensure that knowledge is effectively transferred to other users Map Global User profiles to local business roles in coordination with Super Users and Functional SAP security point of contact Ensure that all users are able to operate new business process effectively with minimum impact to the business Work with Super users on transformation of Finance processes to Finance CoE (COTA) and Cash Services including help with Change Mgt and impact analysis. Work closely with Finance team in the SAP CoE in order to become a Process and SAP system expert as well as to drive Finance enhancements to the Global Design Mode

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) Minimum of 3+ years’ Experience SAP Finance Must have worked in Manufacturing industry.

Travel: This position requires someone who can travel at least 30%. 70% would be remote.

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Nice to Have; (But not a must)
