SAP Business Analyst

The SAP Business Systems Analyst is the IT business partner and solution expert supporting deployments of the Gestamp SAP platform at North America locations. Provides hands on expertise and supports the SAP platform modules including the Industrial Model and the Financial areas. Areas of SAP expertise include SD, PP, MM, EDI, FI and Captor (shop floor date collection).

This position will be a liaison to the GNA operations leadership, plant operations teams and Corporate SAP teams. Key initiatives will be supporting best practice solutions platforms across GNA plants, eliminating local legacy systems to drive productivity, minimize risk, and deliver operational excellence, while driving toward standard processes.

1.Provide leadership and support for SAP deployments at GNA locations

2. Translate business requests/issues into technical and business process requirements

3. Consult business and make recommendations to explore best practice business processes and system solutions that optimize client operations

4. Execute Business Analysis responsibilities in system development projects

5. Key liaison between local plant teams and corporate deployment and support groups

6. Ability to think strategically about opportunities for business process/system improvement

7. Look for opportunities to leverage SAP, BW/BI, and SharePoint

8. Support preventive maintenance and IT operational activities to ensure continuous, high level performance of systems

9. Become intimately familiar with and maintain a working knowledge of assigned business/corporate function

Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelors Degree in computer science or business related major

2. 6+ years IT Systems Projects / Business Analysis / Service experience

1. Technical Skills: Possesses, acquires, and maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively and to create client/customer solutions.

a. Demonstrated knowledge of core SAP modules and the Gestamp Model is required

b. Subject matter expertise in automotive industry best practices.

2. Change Management coordination and ability to guide/train and influence acceptance of new processes and use of technology

3. Ability to lead larger projects in the implementation of process design / improvements in manufacturing.

4. Collaboration: Builds constructive working relationships with clients/customers, other departments, organizations and others to meet mutual goals and objectives.

a. Ability to coordinate remote teams and work effectively with multiple regions.

5. Communication: Demonstrates good written, oral, listening and presentation skills.

6. Organization skills: Organizes work, sets priorities, determines the necessary sequence of activities needed to achieve goals while effectively managing time.

9. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.

10. May be required to work extended hours on occasion.

11. Flexible travel required, up to 50% possible.
