SAP Analyst – FI

Position Title: IT SAP Operations Finance – Controlling
Reports to: Senior Manager IT Finance
Location: Atlanta GA
Summary:
Member of the SAP Finance IT team supporting initiatives in supply chain finance and controlling – profitability analysis for plan and actuals and their use in decision support.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance capabilities in the area of operations finance and integrate SAP FI-GL and FI-CO with other process areas (MM, PP, SD) and reporting.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of configuration and suggest enhancements for SAP FICO and standard SAP processes, for controlling and profitability.
  • Act as both a subject matter expert and an internal consultant within the business, helping to facilitate the use of technology as a tool for process improvement. Manage change within affected processes and stakeholder groups through process mapping, proofs of concept, demonstrations, and testing.
  • Lead efforts to gather, identify, and translate business requirements into system changes and functional specifications for enhancements. Validate the design satisfies business and functional requirements and achieves the objectives stated in the business case.
  • Manage test phases for FICO by developing unit tests and integration tests, managing the test execution, and obtaining sign off on test results from business partners.
  • Deliver end-user documentation and demonstrations to support new system Implementation, enhancement deployment, and incident management efforts.
  • Communicate effectively using interpersonal skills at various levels in the organization from the end user community up to vice presidents, in large and small groups.

  • Minimum Qualifications
    :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field of study.
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in systems implementation, support, and/or IT consulting.
  • Experience supporting and SAP configuration and enhancements for operations finance, sales finance, controlling, or accounting.
  • Advanced analytical skills and full comprehension of the systems development and implementation life-cycle.
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office product suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience with one or more reporting packages, like Business Explorer and Power BI.
