Sales Support Specialist

Role Description

Blue Bite is a tech company, but what we ultimately do is enhance and retain brand Trust & Loyalty by developing stellar customer experiences embedded right into the product/service.

We are actively looking for a Sales Support Specialist in NYC. Someone who is highly organized and can wear multiple hats with masterful prioritization. This is a great opportunity to liaise with executives in a support role that contributes directly towards overall Sales & Marketing strategies.

You are an extremely curious problem-solver with some knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal-oriented. Moreover, you will play a key role in building and growing Blue Bite’s business presence in North America. This role requires an autonomous self-starter with outstanding interpersonal capabilities coupled with highly-effective time management skills.

In this position, you will help develop and expand business opportunities. You will target, educate and motivate new customers to embrace Blue Bite’s revolutionary software to meet their customer retention needs.

Responsibilities

Research and prospect new accounts

Build and nurture new customer relationships

Drive lead acquisition and qualification

Deliver Web-based and in-person sales presentations and demonstrations

Participate in joint marketing activities

Occasionally travel to trade shows and industry events

Create and process sales orders

Design creative & conceptually-driven proposals solving big problems

Compile daily lists and delegate individual leads to sales team executives. You’ll help to evaluate, build, and manage a sales pipeline. Your main focus will be on converting leads our marketing team creates into new Blue Bite customers.

Act as a liaison between customer and product, you’ll channel recurring customer inquiries to all areas of the business such as technology, marketing, design, and product.

Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is on board.

Provide data and insights to help the sales team as well as suggest sales process improvements. Your voice is important to us!

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or similar

Strong presentation skills

Superhuman interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently

Design Thinking is in your DNA

Experience in online software sales (SaaS) a huge plus

Ability to multitask and switch focus quickly
