This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to grow with a technology start-up, work from home and manage their schedule. All Sales Representatives will be hired (at least initially) on a contract basis with a commission-based compensation expected to average $800 – $1,200 per month, depending on time spent and level of effort.

Sales Rep / Account Executive Responsibilities

Seeking energetic, self-starters with a passion for sales to sell eVisitorGuide’s unique, customized digital brochures to Chicago’s hospitality community (restaurants, bars, museums, attractions, tour operators, theaters, etc.).

The successful Sales Representative / Account Executive candidate will be responsible for contacting local area hospitality establishments (via cold calling, in-person visits and/or e-mail), introducing the product and closing the sale.

Initial sales calls will target businesses in the following Chicago neighborhoods: Loop, South Loop, Near North, Streeterville, River North, River West, Old Town, Gold Coast, West Loop, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, Pilsen, Chinatown, Lincoln Park, DePaul, Lakeview, Wrigleyville, Andersonville, Lincoln Square and Hyde Park.

Sales Rep / Account Executive Qualifications

Eager, outgoing and personable, with a passion for closing a sale. Must be comfortable making cold calls (phone, e-mail and in-person), with good verbal and written skills. The successful candidate must be organized, persistent, creative, flexible, have excellent follow-up skills and the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment. Candidates must also be able to work from home with internet access and smartphone. While prior sales experience is a plus, it is not mandatory.
