Job Description
RCL FOODS is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Group Division servicing the Millbake (SUNBAKE) Business Unit. The role will be based in Zeerust/Litchenburg and report to the Regional Sales Manager. RCL FOODS is looking for a driven and self-motivated individual to join the team. SUNBAKE entrusts the incumbent to be an effective sales representative to regional retail customers by maintaining regular contact and providing relevant solutions based on a clear understanding of the customers’ business, the macro environment and SUNBAKE products.
Duties & Responsibilities

Set Sales budgets volumes monthly will be achieved Monthly action and promotional plans to be provided. Conduct weekly sales meetings. Compile monthly action plans to achieve targets by customer. Daily call cycle to be followed. Establish good relationships with all and customers. Management of Targets Drawing up of a sales plan Manage a hawker 3rd party agent Promotion planning Events planning Understanding of insights Debriefing drivers Growing current customer base Planning Meeting of deadlines Networking Been involved in CSI projects Flexible working hours Promotions Implement promotional plan to achieve volumes Manage promotions Monthly actions To establish weak points with merchandisers and to rectify them. To ensure the merchandisers are aware of all Marketing activity, and that this is executed. Ensure that the merchandisers effectively manage the shelves. Objectives and Key Tasks Continually ensure correct merchandising and otherwise promote the display of all company products in all outlets, using all displays material. Negotiate continually for more and improved shelf space for the company products in all outlets. To identify opportunities to increase sales via existing customers and obtaining new customers in conjunction with or without the merchandising and sales staff. To maximize sales and grow our market share. To provide assistance to customers. To establish and maintain excellent customer service levels. Reports (Weekly) Sales activity Opposition activity Achievements Sales volumes versus budget Points of interest & issues Team Coordination and Self-Management Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning, prioritizing and self-development. Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained. Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution. Support and drive the business core values. Manage colleagues and clients’ expectations and communicate appropriately. Demonstrate willingness to help others and “go the extra mile” to meet team targets and objectives. Participate in and drive regular performance appraisals and ensure that own targets and goals are clear and achievable. Maintain a basic appreciation and awareness of employee relations climate and ensure corrective action is taken where required in line with relevant legislation and company policy. Engage and foster good cross-functional relationships with all stakeholders in the sales value chain.
Minimum Requirements

Matric Marketing and or Sales Degree or National Diploma is advantageous Advanced computer skills Valid Code EB drivers’ license 1 to 3 years direct selling experience. Retail/Bakery sales experience advantageous
