Sales – Commercial Territory Representative

Overhead Door Company of Kansas City, DH Pace Company, aspires to hire an experienced Outside Sales Representative / Account Manager in our Kansas City office to develop relationships with existing customers and aggressively seek and secure new customers through prospecting activities to sell overhead doors and commercial entry doors. Job Responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to directly impact sales by cultivating new customers and fostering long-term relationships with them.

  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of overhead doors and commercial entry doors and service
  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems; consultative sales
  • Cultivate sales within commercial and industrial buildings, colleges, K-12 and municipalities in Kansas City and surrounding areas
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customers’ needs, and sell technical and mechanical goods and services
  • Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call to closing the sale
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals
  • Follow up quickly to close customer projects and participate in project management when necessary
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
  • Be responsible for achieving sales objectives
  • Attend regularly scheduled sales meetings with Sales Manager, General Manager and Sales Team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years outside sales experience
  • Experience with Blue Prints/Plans and Specs highly desired
  • Must have an outgoing personality and a natural affinity for taking care of customers
  • References must be able to tell us that you have an outstanding work ethic, are highly reliable, self-motivated and goal oriented with a drive to be successful
  • Must have good time management skills, be organized and have the ability to multi-task
  • Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
