Sales Assistant

The sales assistant role is a support function to the entire wholesale team. The sales assistant is responsible for all sample coordination from inception from design, to sending to wholesale accounts for various shoots, and managing samples across all internal departments. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills is important for this role.

Responsibilities:
Maintain the showroom

Sample management for RTW, Swim, and Accessories divisions

Coordinate samples for direct account sell shots, advertising shoots, and liaise with internal departments for company photoshoots

Create seasonal styling directives for major online accounts

Assist with market prep and sales market appointments

Assist with customer order maintenance: manage major account order templates and order entry

Help compile and analyze sales reports on a weekly basis from accounts to identify re-order opportunities

Maintain the “Available to Sell” report on a weekly basis and create picture packets

Work closely with warehouse operations manager to track PO’s and resolve EDI transmission discrepancies for major accounts

Monitor accounts shipping status weekly and ensure EDI’s are received in a timely manner

Assist Sales Team with special projects as needed

Manage intern program for sales team

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree

Previous wholesale sales assistant experience preferred, but not required (internships acceptable)

Proficient in Microsoft Office (EXCEL) and able to perform simple functions and formulas

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized, strong attention to detail, able to multi-task, and follow up skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
