Bear Robotics, Inc. is a Silicon Valley based X-googler startup focusing on food industry. We have great team members, investors and good understanding of the market. We dream of the days where robots and humans interact closely to improve the quality of human life for customers as well as employees and employers.

We are in the early stage building up the core team, and we would like to hire self-motivating creative pioneers to open the new world together. We are currently developing an autonomous mobile robot to help food industry.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Robotics Engineers – Innovations in robotics algorithms and implementation including path-planning, obstacle avoidance, and simulated testing for mobile service robots.
• Vision Engineers – Design and implement vision-based applications using OpenCV.
• Front-end Engineers – Developing app interfaces for human-robot interaction. (we can also hire part-timers or interns for this role)

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in CS, EE, or ME
• Strength in software engineering (C++, Python, JS).
• Familiarity with ROS or OpenCV, (or show us that you are a quick learner)
• Passion for robots and food.
• Team player
• Restaurants or retail experiences are a plus
• US citizenship, green-card or existing visa holders, or OPT only.
