What does a Retention/Email Marketing Specialist at Hayneedle do?

The ideal candidate for this position will be a detail oriented, strategic marketer focused on growing revenue and customer engagement through the email channel. This person will improve existing processes and create new ways to inspire and engage our customers! A true marketing expert that uses data to drive performance with creativity and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creates email campaigns based on business needs
• Runs data queries and validates data
• Works closely with the Marketing/Creative team for driving traffic via the email channel.
• Create, execute and measure marketing programs to increase revenue.
• Analyze data to look for trends to increase the email channels opportunities.
• Works alongside other teams to collaborate and create effective marketing messages to drive customer engagement and performance

What basic qualifications will our Retention/Email Marketing Specialist need to have?

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications.

1-2 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising Agency or related preferred. Experience creating email campaigns is a plus. Working knowledge of HTML is required.

Uses skills as an experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.

Strengths in the ability to solve problems, analyzing warning signs, identifying the problem, and finding the solution.

Working knowledge of HTML.

Excellent execution knowledge of email marketing tools.

Knowledge of marketing campaigns and communications principles and practices.

Well-developed written and oral communication skills.

Strong time management, decision-making, human relations, presentation, organizational and problem solving skills.
