TASKS YOULL BE JUGGLING

• Tagging appropriate attributes to each item such as designer, maker, condition, measurements, etc.
• Assembling items into saleable lots or groupings.
• Sorting items by size and value for entry into the photography workflow.
• Performing basic research using the internet and reference materials.
• Staying current on trends and descriptors of vintage and secondhand goods.
• Providing accurate item information by minimizing returns and maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Communicating with internal customers for the best possible item presentation.
• Working in conjunction with EBTH teammates to maximize throughput and timeliness in order to achieve company defined Key Performance Indicators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Have a blast working alongside a vibrant crew of EBTH-ers who like to work hard/play hard!

YOUR CREDENTIALS

• Drive! This business is fast-paced and challenging. A self-starter is a must!
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). College degree in Design or the Arts preferable.
• Knowledge of antiques, artwork, collectibles and unique items with the ability to assess value.
• Ability to do internet research and use office software.
• Recognized ability to effectively communicate with team and customers.
• A team player mentality with an ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends when needed.
• Ability to move / lift up to 50 lbs.
• A sense of humor. No, really!
