Resident Services Coordinator

  • to empower residents by involving them in decision making

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

The Resident Services Coordinator will reach out to families in the assigned the Maine Portfolio: including 4 properties, 130+ Units, to assist them in obtaining the social services and programs they need to improve their lives, to reach their goals, and to achieve higher levels of self-sufficiency. The Resident Services Coordinator will connect families to the community, non-profits, and government resources appropriate for the need.

Under direction of the District Manager, the Coordinator will provide social service referrals, identify and manage community partners to provide onsite programming, conduct outreach.

Specialized Focus: Employment Programs/Partnerships, Senior Engagement & Support, Social Service Referrals.

Major Duties Include:

1. Provide direct support to the residents through one-on-one referrals.

  • Referrals include, but are not limited to resources for, counseling, home health aides, food assistance, transportation, health, substance abuse, financial management, technology assistance, rental assistance, utility assistance, employment, and education.

2. Engage the community through outreach and marketing.

  • Conduct outreach in coordination with our staff to identify needs of the community and to recruit for programming and other opportunities.
  • Design flyers and other promotional material as needed.

3. Identify workshop opportunities and partners to deliver programs which meet the needs of the community.

  • This will be done in coordination with the RS team.
  • Manage partnership with: Senior Plus, Local DHHS offices, Local General Assistance Offices, Local Town Offices, Local Food Banks, and all workforce/employment partners.

4. Design and develop the bi-monthly Calendar for Maine Portfolio – due the 1st of every other month.

5. Attend regular meeting my MRESCA and network Eagle Point Management, LLC in a positive manner.

6. Maintain tracking documents and contact/network lists. Document templates provided by District Manager.

7. Support residents through the Lease Obligations by working with them on the monthly rent requirements, maintaining their home, maintaining their relationships with their neighbors. Provide necessary referrals.

8. Organize on a monthly basis community meetings and events with the residents and site team.

9. Ensure monthly reports are submitted in a timely manner, reflecting impact and success measure.

  • Submit monthly reports, summarizing all programming and referrals each month due by the 10th of each month via email to the District Manager.
  • Prepare required Grant reports due for March 30th and September 30th.
  • Assure that photos of onsite events are being uploaded and shared with District Manager

10. Other duties assigned.

  • High school or equivalent
