RESERVATION SPECIALIST

• Phone Coverage: Manage phone coverage responsibilities for reservations and inquiries.
• Email Inbox Management: Manage email inquiries, including replying to email questions about stays, identifying messages for response and relaying to appropriate team member for attention.
• Respond to Inquiries: Provide professional and courteous customer service to callers and email inquiries, including detailed property and destination information.
• Process and Confirm Bookings: Efficiently and accurately process and audit reservations across multiple platforms.
• Events Calendar : Monitor and record local events to forecast hotel demand.
• Systems Audit : Ensure all related systems, web, and social media are working effectively.
• Invoicing: Maintain hotel’s accounts receivable and payable.

Qualifications:

• Computer Skills: Highly computer literate with a high level command of Excel.
• Communication Skills: Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written with superb people skills.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized and must have ability to multi-task.
• Detail Oriented: Attention to detail is a must. Accurate and systematic organizational skills are necessary.
• Work Ethic: Able to work independently and be involved in all aspects of the reservation process.
• Training: Create training materials and provide training to new hires.
