Reservation Agent

Triumph Hotels is currently looking for Reservation Agents to work in its Central Reservation Department.

The Central Reservation Agent is responsible for reservations made by telephone, fax or email and handles all associated operations.

The Person is responsible for maximizing occupancy/room rate/revenue at all times and maintaining a consistently high standard of operation and customer service within reservations departments.

Responsible for handling incoming calls to the reservations department professional, efficient, friendly manner.

Responsible for ensuring that every reservation contains the correct and applicable information. Makes every effort to meet customer needs to convert the call.

Handles reservations with a positive sales attitude and operate systems in accordance with company standards.

Ensures that reservations are taken according to management decisions of selling strategies.

Ensure all activities, comments and traces are followed up on in a timely manner and results of such recorded.

Ensures that all daily and monthly reports are being filed.

Attends departmental communication meetings and training.

Handles reservations by applying the various step-by step processes defined by the brand

Ensure reservation details are precise and correct as this is to ensure smoothness upon check in at the front desk.

Assist in optimizing occupancy and average room rates.

Rapidly identifies new customer and modifies the sales pitch accordingly when using Call Script.

Be fully knowledgeable with OPERA, PMS, OXI and Extranet Systems and maintain good communication skills for handling reservations inquiries.
