We’ve had overwhelming demand from companies like IBM, Airbnb, Uber, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble and many more, and are growing rapidly at about 25% M.O.M . About the Team

This is an exciting time to get in on the ground floor of the sales organization.

We are hiring a research manager to respond to very strong client demand for ancillary and complementary services to the Respondent marketplace. This growth has resulted in the need to bring on exceptional fresh talent with a track record of working with large clients, and solving complex market research needs.

Respondent is a fully distributed team of highly driven individuals that are intelligent, organized, and dedicated. You will be working with the founders of Respondent to accomplish and surpass quarterly and annual objectives. We are a goal-oriented team that works hard and enjoys the incredible trajectory that Respondent provides.

We are seeking a Research Manager that possesses strong research and technical expertise and project management skills and demonstrates aptitude for strategic thinking and problem solving. The Research Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of custom market research studies that fit around our core deliverable of connecting researchers with the highest quality respondents in the world.

A Day in the Life

Own the Respondent Pro tier of service that elevates Respondents ancillary research practice, and seek to build out a sustainable vertical that supports our core business. This involves:

The development of client proposals – understanding client’s objectives, scoping project, developing appropriate methodology to meet objectives, and pricing

The day-to-day management of third party researchers, external research platforms and end clients

Leading the development of research design, screener surveys, scheduling and logistics

Finding opportunities to sell Respondent Pro services to existing clients

What We Need from You

BA/BS degree in related field

2+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research

Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint – preferably with an eye towards presentation design

Knowledge and experience using a wide variety research tools such as UserZoom, Usertesting, Lookback.io, SurveyMonkey, FocusVision, DScout etc.

Demonstrated success in managing end to end project life cycle with multi market and complex studies

Solid detail orientation and ability to multi-task

Ability to work independently, with strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines

Demonstrated effective client management (internal or external) skills

Relationship building, business development, and client management

No ego or self-entitlement. A willingness to get your hands dirty and sometimes do tasks that are beneath your skill threshold

A willingness to try new things, explore new approaches and be constantly coming to us with genius ideas about how to make our business scale
