THE CHALLENGE
Our Research Coordinator will support our Researchers and Designers in planning and carrying out research studies with the goal of helping the Brand team build the world’s best organizer tools and attendee experiences. We’re informing huge parts of our product—including our core flows, pattern libraries and style guide.

THE TEAM
The Eventbrite Brand team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group of strategist, designers, researchers and makers, who work across product groups and functions. We are designing the future and the today of the Eventbrite brand through every interaction within and outside of the product. We are specialists within our individual products, as well as our areas of expertise. Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers and other functions, we conceptualize and craft designs for experiences that will define the success of our business and our brand for the future.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone who is interested in, and ideally knowledgeable about research participant recruitment practices, and has strong attention to detail to support our research efforts.

YOU WILL

  • Screen and recruit research participants for a variety of research studies
  • Write screener surveys and launch via email or through Ethnio
  • Identify possible research participants from user lists and survey responses based on study criteria
  • Manage study logistics, including scheduling participants, booking rooms, creating meeting invitations for stakeholders, and sending incentive payments
  • Create, manage, and distribute participant lists
  • Assist with technology set-up and note-taking during research sessions
  • Maintain a digital library of research projects and a master list of research participants

THE SKILL SET

  • 1-2 years experience in coordinating tasks that support research activities, including: participant recruitment, scheduling, and communication
  • Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, and able to work independentlyStrong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Google office productivity tools, including email, calendar, spreadsheets, word documents, and presentations
  • Interest in user experience research and design

BONUS POINTS

  • BS/BA in human factors, human computer interaction, cognitive science, experimental psychology, anthropology, information science, or a related field
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methods
  • Experience setting up and analyzing usability tests on UserTesting.com
  • Passionate about live events
