Research Biomedical Engineer

Position: Engineer to join the team. BioMedical Engineer, Biomechanical Engineer/Bioengineering. An exciting and challenging opportunity in biomedical engineering analysis and accident reconstruction. This job is a cross between myth busters and the real CSI with analysis of car crashes, dodge ball accidents, falls, slips and motorcycles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigate accident vehicles and accident photos/evidence. Research projects and crash test data searching, producing short reports on findings.
• Perform interpretive, critical analysis of expert reports and depositions.Prepare for depositions and trial testimony (exemplars, exhibits, documents).
• Develop plans and interact with project managers and experts to help prepare for inspections, meetings, and kinematic studies. Perform laboratory and field tests.
• Participate in and make suggestions regarding engineering issues during the review of current and future projects.

Requirements:

• BioMedical Engineering, Bioengineering or Mechanical Engineering degree or Accident Reconstruction experience a plus
• Ability to work under dynamic conditions
• Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, resourceful and enthusiastic
• Well organized. Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
• Quick learner, open and able to adapt with new tasks and processes
• Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge.
• LabView Software experience a plus so please let us know.
• Fluency in Microsoft movie maker a plus.
