Lincoln Property Company (LPC) is a privately held Commercial Real Estate Company headquartered in Dallas with 38 offices throughout the United States. Lincoln Property Company was founded in 1965 on the principles of developing and managing high quality residential communities, and over the years has expanded to include all aspects of commercial real estate in its line of products and services. LPC’s Southeast Regional Organization was established in 1973 and manages and leases over 13 million square feet of Office, Industrial and Retail properties in Atlanta, GA. Along with the aforementioned leasing and management services, LPC Southeast’s other primary profit drivers include acquisitions and development services encompassing office, industrial, and retail product types.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The ideal Research Analyst will support Lincoln’s core functions through the delivery of timely and accurate market research. Information generated by this position will directly inform the strategic decisions of every arm of LPC Southeast’s business. The time commitment required of the position will depend on the individual candidate and may be either full time or part time.

This position will be responsible for database maintenance and content generation support, including (1) lease and sales transaction data for the Metro Atlanta Region for Office, Industrial, Flex, and Retail product types, (2) client contact databases, (3) spatial data sets tracking development activity across all major commercial property classes, (4) assisting in generation of thought leadership materials, etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver high quality research and insight to Lincoln’s core personnel through proactive data capture and verification
  • Conduct business-critical research of development activity throughout greater Metro Atlanta
  • Ensure database integrity through independent verification of transaction details
  • Identify and fix data anomalies and errors
  • Engage operations personnel to generate and refine data collection processes
  • Improve coverage and depth of existing databases through innovative research processes
  • Conduct comprehensive research to support time-sensitive objectives
  • Help contextualize market data to develop asset strategy
  • Support operations personnel via timely delivery of research materials
  • Maintain strict professional standards of attendance and timeliness. Promote LPC’s core ethics of honesty, integrity, and transparency

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics from a four-year college or university
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Access
  • Attention to Detail
  • Strong Organizational Skills
