Reliability Engineer

Position Purpose

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for the implementation and management of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). This position will be focused on equipment reliability improvements along with other components of the proactive maintenance model that may be assigned as demanded by the needs of the facility. The Reliability Engineer will be a champion for the maintenance and reliability efforts. This position will have an integral role in defect detection and elimination.

Principal Accountabilities

35% Lead Root Cause Analysis and correction program.

30% Support and lead Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) activities including implementation and management of the Mechanical Integrity program.

20% Provide process and technical support for the maintenance planners and coordinators.

15% Work with engineering and Original Equipment Managers (OEMs) to develop equipment and installation standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Agricultural engineering or related engineering discipline.

Minimum 1+ year of experience in production, maintenance, or project management.

Training and knowledge of management of proactive maintenance model.

Demonstrated ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems involving multiple technologies.

Advance computer skills.

Strong communication, organization and time management skills.

Demonstrated strong leadership skills.

Willingness to challenge status quo.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 3+ year’s of experience in production, reliability, or project management.

Certified Maintenance Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification.

Knowledge of predictive technologies (vibration, infrared, ultrasound, machinery lubrication).

Experience with corn milling equipment and processes.

Process Safety Management (PSM) Mechanical Integrity experience.
