SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the revenue growth of, but not limited to, the K-8 Engineering is Elementary project curriculum products. Primary responsibilities includes developing and implementing sales plans, maintaining budgets and delivering against established annual revenue targets. In this role, you will drive new business, as well as, manage and maintain existing customer business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive sales of curriculum/supplemental business of >$9.0M in annual sales, with annual growth targets of 7-10% in the K-8 Market
  • Manage a defined territory of TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, FL
  • Travel requirement of a minimum of 30% to a maximum of 80%

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

REPORTS TO:

Executive Director, Curriculum Sales

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.
  • Four (4) or more years of Sales or Teaching experience in the K-8 Education field experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with products and/or services in the K-8 educational market(s).
  • Demonstrated experience/ability presenting to audiences.
  • Demonstrated track record meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer hardware/software and/or web-based technologies.

STARTING SALARY:

Base salary plus commission.
