Regional Marketing Manager – Emerging Global Brands

Area of responsibility:
This regional marketing manager role will have responsibility for leading locally relevant strategies, programs and tools to stimulate growth of targeted HUSA emerging brands within their assigned Region. This role will serves as the ambassador for assigned “growth” brands and will partner closely with the RVP and field sales and national sales teams within their region to understand the market opportunity and deliver unique/creative solutions to address these opportunities. This role will also collaborate closely with their local marketing counterparts and the portfolio brand teams in White Plains to drive national brand strategy with local commercialization and resource support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy setting at Region level: Owner of annual and trimester planning for Regional level local brand marketing activities (must be developed working closely with Regional/Zone level leadership team to achieve overall sales goals). Collaborate with RMD and Brand teams to determine required financial and support resources to support the plan.

  • Lead local creative strategy, campaign planning, and execution: Develop locally relevant brand, channel, ethnic and shopper/consumer programming and tools in concert with brand team, RMD, and key Zone sales staff, finance, and legal teams. Identify strategically aligned local partnership opportunities (traditional and non-traditional) and develop local programs (including outlet visibility and activation) to support.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives.

– Manage the sell-in and execution of all Emerging Global Brand marketing plans and programs. This includes communication with internal stakeholders, distributors and retail customers. Ensure consistency of message and Brand alignment across all communications.

  • Drive Excellent Outlet Execution against KPI’s for Emerging Global Brands across the region and especially within focus markets. This will include supporting the field sales team with execution and resource planning, reviewing input and output KPI performance and identifying opportunities, and post program analysis / ROI evaluation.
  • Identify, create plan and execute locally relevant brand building activities: event sponsorships, innovation launches, partnerships with local leagues/associations, local media and on premise activations
  • Partner with and manage local 3rd party agencies as appropriate to execute local marketing activities, including sampling, events, sponsorship or other locally identified volume and/or brand building activities.
Background / Experiences:
• 4-6 years marketing /field sales experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Marketing concentration a plus)
  • Experience in managing support agencies both sales promotion and advertising/media
  • Knowledge of Industry, three tier system, and key markets preferred
  • Proven ability to plan, track, and execute key metrics
  • Ability to Influence senior management through meaningful market insights.
