Regional Director of Patient Financial Services

• This is a full time, permanent position that provides a competitive base income and bonus opportunity. The position is with a major health system. Travel is estimated at 25%.
• Provides senior level management of operations of a Distributed Shared Service Center dedicated to the financial clearance of patients and the billing and collection of healthcare accounts receivable for services provided by multiple regional hospitals exceeding $1 billion in net revenue annually.
• Directs activities of patient registration, financial clearance, third party billing, patient billing, insurance and patient liability follow-up, cash posting and customer service; provides technical and change management expertise to improve various revenue management processes.
• Works closely with other revenue functional areas including reimbursement, payer negotiations and contracting, utilization management and coding.
• Manages vendor relationships for patient collections, bad debt management and other activities as needed.
• Identifies and implements leading practices processes and technology necessary to achieve objectives.

This position requires 25% travel and relocation to any one of the following areas;

Mason City, Iowa

Boise, Idaho

Kentwood, Michigan

Salary: $140,000.00 to $190,000.00 /year
