The Region People System Programme Lead drives the implementation and delivery of the Global People System Programme across the Region.

Working with multiple stakeholders, the Region People System Programme Lead will report into the Global People System Programme Leader and work closely with the Global People System Programme Communications and Engagement Leader, Global Change Analyst, Global PMO, Global Transformational Consultants, Region People Teams and Region Stakeholders to shape, develop and manage subsequent region people system projects plans and align them to the overall Global People System Programme.

The Region People System Programme Lead will be required to influence region leadership as appropriate for the Programme. The Region People System Programme Lead will also provide day to day project management guidance and support across all levels and teams within their local People function.

The Region People System Programme Lead will be supported by a Region People System Data and Administrator and a Region People System Communications and Change Administrator, in the delivery of multiple projects that fall under one Programme, ranging from advice and guidance, through to full end to end project management support.

Forming part of the Global People System Programme team, the Region People System Programme Lead will also be required to work closely alongside the Region People SME’s spanning, HR Data and Analytics, Talent, Operations, Learning Development, Mobility and Reward.

  • Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    Programme Planning

  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
  • Review the project schedule with key stakeholders / project teams impacted by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
  • Project Implementation • Key point of contact in the region for any risk and/or issues, working with the Global People System Programme Leader and Global PMO to mitigate and resolve

  • Execute the programme according to each of the project plans, using appropriate project management methodology
  • Develop required forms, documents and records for project activities that fall under the programme.
  • Work with the Global PMO and Global People System Programme Leader to support the programme governance in your region and ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secure
  • Monitor the ongoing progress of the project for the region
  • Work with the Global People Programme Communications and Engagement Leader to establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including members in the region on the progress of the projects and change
  • Oversee the change and communications within the region, supporting the Region People System Programme Communications & Change Administrator, shaping and delivering of communications and change for the region
  • Oversee the Data cleanse within the region, through direction from Global People Data and Analytics Lead, Global PMO and Global People System Programme Leader
  • Support the Region People System Programme Data & Administrator with the data cleanse and preparation tasks when and where necessary
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the regional programme team on a regular basis to ensure each project is meeting the standards
  • Project Controls & Communication

  • Formulate and prepare weekly/fortnightly/monthly project reports
  • Work with regional Global PMO and Global Transformation Consultants to create programme updates for each of the project workstreams. This will be presentated and discussed with the Global People System Programme Leader
  • Project Evaluation

  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time within the region and at the required level of quality
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
  • Personal Attributes

  • Proven experience of a People function background in a multiple site, matrix working environment.
  • Previous experience of programme/project management
  • Experience of using Project Management methodology to deliver People projects and programmes.
  • Experience of advising and influencing senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to build, develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels and specifically with senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage relationships with personal and professional credibility.
  • Experience of managing 3rd party providers to deliver service into an organisation.
  • Proven track record of People operational delivery.
  • Commercially and strategically astute.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • The ability to prioritise changing deadlines.
  • Good team working skills.
  • Previous experience implementing a People System is desirable, but not essential
  • Previous experience using Oracle Fusion is desirable, but not essential.
  • Due to the global nature of this project, there may on occasion be the requirement to work outside of normal office hours.
