As a Recruiting Coordinator at Micron Technology, Inc., you will play a valuable role in matching top talent with Micron’s hiring needs. By delivering organized and timely support to the Recruiting Team, you will have the opportunity to touch all steps of full-cycle recruiting and develop a strong set of customer service skills. Such customer interactions will result in a rare network of interdisciplinary professionals both within and outside of Micron and provide a foundation for career and personal development within Human Resources and the Semiconductor Industry.

Responsibilities and Tasks


Support External Hiring

  • Consult with and counsel recruiting stakeholders
  • Pre-Screen/conduct phone interviews with candidates
  • Schedule phone screens and interviews, and host and/or escort onsite interviews
  • Complete Hiring actions within HR Systems for new team members and update as needed
  • Support hiring of non-US workers by working with Hiring Managers and Micron Legal Department for completion of initial visa petition paperwork; assist in tracking progress of visa petition process
  • Other duties as needed to ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experience


Manage International and Inter-site Transfers as needed

  • Create requisitions in the recruiting system
  • Work with transferring team member to prepare for transfer in-system
  • Facilitate any changes to transfer details in the HR System


Manage Contractor Conversions to Full-Time Positions as needed

  • Create requisitions in the recruiting system
  • Validate successful screening is completed
  • Work with contractor to prepare for conversion in-system
  • Extend offers
  • Initiate conversions upon acceptance


Manage Intern Hiring for SRT/s

  • Pull intern headcount approved from vacancy management
  • Gather HM input for intern job requisitions/posting
  • Create, open and post intern requisitions
  • Maintain Intern Tracking Spreadsheet
  • Conduct initial intern phone screening
  • Schedule intern/HM phone interviews
  • Draft intern offers
  • Extend and process intern offers


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Some college coursework or Bachelor’s degree preferred


Experience:

  • 2 years of general office experience required
  • Experience supporting HR desired
