Honeywell currently has an opening for a Radar Signal Processing Engineer in our Digital RF Systems group in our Advanced Technology organization. This position is responsible for radar signal processing algorithm development/modeling and radar system performance analysis. Our team conducts research and development in RF system concepts and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Advance radar development for detection and tracking in Degraded Visual Environments, Collision Avoidance, Doppler navigation, or Radar altimetry

Project activities including requirement analysis, concept design, tradeoff analysis, prototype system integration, prototype flight testing and evaluation

YOU MUST HAVE

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science

5 years of hands on experience with radar waveform design and signal processing

5 years of hands on experience with system design tools, e.g., Matlab, Python and C/C++

WE VALUE

PhD of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science

FMCW Radar or Phased Array Radar Experience

Radar Waveform Optimization

Experience with Polarimetric Radar Signal Processing / Algorithms

Ability to perform systems/SW/HW concept development, architecture design, trade studies, requirements analysis and flow down in support of new concepts of operations

Experience working on government R&D projects from DARPA, DOD, NASA, Homeland Security or classified U.S. government agencies

Strong communication and presentation skills
