The Quantitative Stress Testing Analyst II is responsible for developing and operating the models and analytics used in the capital planning process, including capital stress testing and capital planning broadly, as well as the highly visible Dodd-Frank stress test. This position requires the ability to work with a large team of people across organizational lines to accomplish complicated deliverables on strict timelines as well as strong quantitative modeling skills. This individual will report to the Capital Planning Manager.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop financial/statistical models for capital stress testing, including the high profile Dodd Frank Act Stress Test. Work with business units to improve line of business Dodd Frank Act Stress Testing models.

Develop and implement improvements in the 30 person Dodd Frank Act Stress Testing process. Produce documentation, generate analysis and perform validation of results that meet regulatory requirements for the capital planning and capital stress testing framework.

Design and generate financial reporting on capital planning and adequacy including ALCO reports Board reports and other management reporting. Make improvements to process and efficiency and add new reporting to keep pace with changes in business and regulatory requirements.

Construct capital planning and capital stress testing processes and models to support M&A activity. The models must be flexible enough that in acquisition due diligence, both the planning models and the stress test models can be run on BOK and the target company. Design and provide analytical support that demonstrates to executive management, regulators and rating agencies that the capital plan to support the acquisition is sufficient to satisfy all constituencies within the tight timeframes inherent in M&A situations.

Other projects and initiatives in support of broader capital markets objectives including funding, asset/liability management, and portfolio management. Provide analytical support for public disclosures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Excellent quantitative and financial modeling and analytical skills, including mathematical programming experience, R is strongly desired

Extensive experience with advanced Excel functions

Solid interpersonal skills including good oral and very good written communication skills with the ability to synthesize quantitative results and qualitative factors into conclusions suitable for executives and regulators

Solid understanding of regulatory capital, economic capital, and capital stress testing requirements and practices

Solid understanding of capital markets, interest rate risk, liquidity risk and bank balance sheets, model validation, and control environment processes

Ability to deal with ambiguity, including vaguely defined deliverables and occasionally unreasonable deadlines

Resourceful, self-motivated, results driven, and detail oriented while able to understand the broader picture

Knowledge of and ability to understand the core business activities, key risks, and risk drivers in those activities

Organizational acumen

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Masters degree or higher in Math, Statistics, Econometric Modeling or other applied quantitative modeling discipline combined with a Finance, Economics or a business degree, MBA or CFA and with 5+ years of banking or related work experience with a publicly traded financial institution in Corporate Treasury, Corporate and/or Line-of-Business Finance, Risk Management and/or Credit.
