POSITION SUMMARY AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Assurance Engineer drives initiatives and projects aimed at ensuring and improving our internal and external customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for leading quality functions in our Broken Arrow, OK headquarters operations and supporting our US Land regional operations. The QA Engineer will oversee inspection of incoming goods, supplier quality program, gage calibration, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. This role will be an integral part of our continuous improvement efforts, key participant in internal audits and the champion of quality and key performance indicators. Lastly, the quality engineer will lead operations process documentation assuring that all applicable processes are continually in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.

A successful QA Engineer will be a self-starter, honest, adaptable, meticulous, a fast learner, comfortable with presenting to large groups, able to read and interpret component and assembly drawings, have the ability to prioritize when faced with competing priorities and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Directs the inspections for product quality from incoming receiving for purchased products in a timely manner

Leads the investigation and resolution of quality issues concerning purchased products including follow up on supplier notification of nonconforming purchased product.

Maintain calibration software and perform calibration of measurement instrumentation

Conduct First Article inspection and testing

Accurately compile inspection data and prepare reports on testing results

Investigation and resolution of quality issues in production areas

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Conduct internal audits

Create detailed work instructions for critical processes that ensure they are performed consistently to optimize quality and efficiency

Other research or related activities as deemed necessary

Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE

Required Skills

Required Experience

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in an engineering curriculum (Engineering majors such as: Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Petroleum, etc.) or a BS in a technical field with 10+ years experience in a related field

Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing/industrial/technical professional role with familiarization of QA activities.

Experience with Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) equipment preferred

Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard measurement techniques commonly used in a machine shop and high precision assembly environment.

Attention to detail with strong quantitative and qualitative capabilities

Ability to communicate (read, write and speak) professionally in English.

Must be proficient with all MS Office applications
