Python Developer

Experience:

• Expert in Python, with equal knowledge of Django
• Node.js experience
• Familiar with some ORM concepts
• Able to integrate multiple data sources or databases into one system
• Understand threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
• Strong understanding of server-side templating languages
• Basic knowledge in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understand accessibility and security compliance
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scaleable application
• Familiar with event-driven programming in Python
• Understand the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Proficiency of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial
