PUMP ROOM ATTENDANT

To inventory, order, maintain, and control all alcoholic substances, and non-alcoholic mixers used within Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino, Inc.
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Adhere to ABC and MGC controls.
• Inventory, and order all alcohol, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic stock.
• Inventory, and replenish stock of all bars daily.
• Operate within full compliance of liquor laws and regulations.
• Adhere to and enforce all control systems.
• Receive weekly supply orders, and place into inventory.
• Maintain and replenish the liquor distribution system daily.
• Requisition liquor and other supplies, when needed.
• Work closely with inventory controls.
• Maintain and requisition work orders of EDI equipment when necessary.
• Maintain an organized, clean and clutter free EDI environment.
• Keep clear and concise records of alcohol distribution.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member is in compliance with uniform appearance standards while on duty.
• Responsible for assisting all F&B outlets as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must be very friendly and outgoing
• Computer knowledge in Windows, and AS/400 applications
• Knowledge of Infogenesis Systems.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour shift.
• Locations on casino floor are noisy and smoky.
• Will also encounter intoxicated guests frequently.
• Provide representation of department in specific project and company meetings.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience as a bartender preferred, but not required.
