Psychotherapist / Counselor

Established Group Psychotherapy practice in Bucktown area is looking to hire one or two psychotherapists for our growing practice. We would like to add to our current group of excellent clinicians. Seeking competent, motivated and compassionate practitioners with expertise in one or more of these areas: – Adult individual therapy- Couples or Family therapy- Child and adolescent therapy. Compensation for a limited (p/t) caseload ~ 10-15 clients per week can average $30-45K+ annually. F/T (20-25 clients per week) can average $60-80K+ annually with incentives for commitment and long-term vision and dedication to the group.

Requirements: -Must be licensed in Illinois to practice independently (eg, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist). Must maintain own malpractice insurance. Preferred candidates will have at least 5 years of direct, post-licensure, clinical experience as a Senior Associate. Will consider less experience, with post-licensure, as a Junior Associate for the right candidate. Must be available to practice in the Chicago area — Bucktown area. Must be available to practice at least two weekday evenings and a weekend time slot; some daytime availability is highly preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Daytime availability will help with building caseload and those candidates will be considered more strongly. Minimum number of clients is 8 per week for P/T position. F/T position is ~ 15+ clients per week.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to transition into a private practice model, or supplement an existing income, with the added security and ease of joining a well-established practice with organizational support (fully furnished office space, referrals, billing/bookkeeping service, marketing, etc). Must be resourceful, capable of working independently and do some of own marketing/networking to help generate referrals.

All positions are independent contractors, not W2 employees.
