Proposal Analyst – Entry Level

Candidate will work in the Contract Technical Requirements function within the Business Ventures organization. Responsible for developing, planning and managing proposal preparation efforts involving engineering and contractual changes, as well as other proposal related activities. Coordinate with the customer and within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics company to develop and execute business/proposal strategies. Schedules and tracks proposal milestones to ensure on-time submittal to commitment. Adjudicates issues and obstacles to successful proposal submission for both schedule and quality. The successful candidate will need to be able to quickly gain the requisite knowledge and experience to perform these tasks without appreciable direction. Extract proposal metrics from a database, organize and graphically display the data. Provide timely and accurate reporting of proposal activity to internal LM Aero customers. Brief management on proposal performance. Occasional overtime and travel is required. Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Salary $43,000.00 to $57,000.00 depending upon skills and experience.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Must be fluent using all means of data analysis and manipulation using MS Excel. Must be able to develop Management briefing charts and materials in MS PowerPoint.

Desired skills

Understanding of Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

Understanding of Department of Defense acquisition processes.

Working knowledge of Access to collect and manipulate proposal data for analysis and able to develop schedules using MS Project Experience in analysis of cost, schedule and technical proposal data. Must have strong communication skills and an ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
