PROMOTION DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION – JACKSON/JONESBORO

A rare and exciting opportunity is now available at the CBS and Fox stations in Jonesboro, Arkansas and the NBC station in Jackson, Tennessee. KNBJ and WNBJ are new stations in Jonesboro and Jackson and are looking for a “can do” Promotion Director who will lead the promotions of our three affiliates in two markets. You will have the opportunity to promote programming for the top 3 networks. This is not your typical TV job. You will be a valuable member of the station team. The Promotion Director will handle shooting, writing and editing as well as trafficking on-air promos on the logs. CBS 39/Fox 39/NBC 39 is a team where everyone does it all. This position can be based in either Jonesboro or Jackson. If you are the “MacGyver of the promotions world,” this could be a dream job!

Job Responsibilities:

• Write, shoot and edit on-air promotion commercials as well as station sponsored promotions
• Oversee all stations’ social and digital media
• Traffic all promos to ensure proper placement on the television stations
• Ensure all events, contests and promotions are executed properly
• Work closely with sales to maximize station branding and revenue
• Develop relationships with local clients, venues and community leaders that help further the marketing of the TV stations
