PROJECT MANAGER_FWI-GOV CONTRACT STAFF

Project Management

  • Direct and ongoing

    interface either in person or via telephone with contract staff, in order

    to ensure project requirements are being fulfilled;
  • Performs a key

    role in Project planning, budgeting, collaboration and coordination

    efforts with contract staff, Subcontractor, daily Project oversight, and

    customer and internal communications;
  • Responsible for

    the overall cost effectiveness of the Project;
  • Routine onsite

    presence at Project location;
  • Ensures Project contract

    staff fulfill tasks as per schedules;
  • Identifies

    resources needed, coordinates contract staff work activities, and assigns individual

    responsibilities;
  • Manages day-to-day

    operational aspects of the Project and scope as detailed within the

    contract documents;
  • Reviews contract deliverables

    either individually prepared or by team before forwarding to client;
  • Effectively

    applies company methodology and enforces Project standards;
  • Effectively prepares

    for client engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures;
  • Facilitates

    compliance with company policies and procedures;
  • Minimizes company

    exposure and risk on Project;
  • Acts as first point of contact for any issues or

    discrepancies arising from within the various client divisions or contract

    staff within the Project before the problem escalates to higher authorities;

  • Ensures Project

    documents are accurate, complete, current, and stored appropriately in

    accordance with company standards.
  • Ensures

    documentation and billings are accurate.
  • Review all

    customer requests and provide participation in the requests for Request

    for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Price (RFP) from onset including preparation

    of proposal schedules to ensuring successful submission;
  • Lead operational

    meetings with the customer or team, to include status updates to Program

    Manager as required.

Project

Accounting

  • Tracks and reports

    contract staff hours and travel expenses on a weekly basis or as needed;
  • Manages Project

    budget and provides direct, routine communication to team project control

    personnel;
  • Determines

    appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing,

    and monitors receivables for Project;
  • Follows up with customers,

    when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices;
  • Analyzes Project

    profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.

    application on customer engagements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in managing

    professional support services contract staff;
  • Experience in communicating

    solutions via email or in person effectively to both technical and

    non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to travel a

    minimum of (25%);
  • Capable of solving complex

    problems;
  • Function effectively in

    adverse environments;
  • An understanding of

    Native American corporation contracting capabilities with the Federal

    Government as both a prime contractor and subcontractor preferred;
  • Thorough understanding of

    the HCI corporate philosophy the various business entities under the HCI

    family;
  • Maintains a valid Driver’s License and be

    insurable under company insurance provider/program.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in management, business

administration, engineering, or related degree. Experience may be substituted for the stated education

requirements for this position.

Experience

At least five (5) years’

experience managing people and programs in public sector performance

management. Three (3) years of experience with U.S. Government supported

grants/contracts management and award facilitation in the US and/or abroad

preferred. PMP certification preferred.
