Project Manager, Public Works

The County of San Diego is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of:

PROJECT MANAGER, PUBLIC WORKS

Project Manager, Public Works are responsible for coordinating, managing, and monitoring the progress of land development projects processed through the County and managing engineering and technical specialists.

The current vacancy is located in Planning & Development Services in the Land Development Engineering Division. This position will manage a team comprised of civil engineers, surveyors, planners and environmental analysts that review discretionary projects and associated technical studies, grading plans, and improvement plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in engineering, land surveying, business administration, public administration, or closely related field, AND , five (5) years of project management experience in public administration, business administration, engineering, or related experience in a public works, planning, or land development setting.
