Project Manager III (PMO)

Under minimal supervision, coordinates multiple projects from a medium to large scale. Manages status reporting, stability of assigned project-oriented work efforts, customer expectations for contracted time, cost, and requirements definitions. Provides a single point of contact for project assignments. Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments. Directs and monitors work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, facilitating quality reviews, and escalating functional, quality, or timeline issues appropriately. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, schedule, budget, issues, risks, and resources of the work effort being managed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred and Master’s Degree highly desired or a combination of education and experience.

Experience: Typically five years of project management experience, managing large-scale, complex/cross-functional projects. Proven experience utilizing industry tools, techniques,and methodologies to drive project success. Experience delivering healthcare and IT projects preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Understanding of project management principles, processes, methodologies and tools. Ability to use critical thinking in evaluation and implementation of appropriate tools and methodologies to fit different project needs (i.e. Lean, Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and coaching skills to enhance project team performance. Ability to leverage business acumen to evaluate strategic business objectives. Proven practice of risk mitigation and change leadership techniques. Ability to manage multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously.

Certificate/License/Registration: Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
