Project Manager – Full Time Days – Immanuel Home Office

Immanuel is the parent company to Immanuel Communities, Immanuel Pathways and AgeWell by Immanuel. Immanuel owns and operates ten independent and assisted living, memory support and long-term care retirement communities on six campuses in Omaha, Papillion and Lincoln, Nebraska and the Immanuel Pathways PACE Centers in Council Bluffs and Des Moines in Iowa and Omaha Nebraska.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Areas

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

Project Management

  • Act as liaison between Lead Project Manager, stakeholders, and teams to organize and direct activities related to a project.
  • Through collaboration with Lead Project Manager and project stakeholders establish and document project activities and objectives following policy, procedure, quality, and performance standards within the boundaries of Immanuel policy and/or State and Federal regulations as well as any contract specifications if applicable.
  • Manages project timelines, budgets, and resources assuring they align with project objectives.
  • Confer with project team to address matters such as work procedures, complaints, and problems related to the project.
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of collaborative solutions to problems.
  • Collaborate with Lead Project Manager to review all project expenditures. Adhere to the project budget.

Communication

  • Affectively execute change and communication management by keeping the project team well informed of project objectives, changes affecting project scope, and deliverables.
  • Anticipate special needs or possible barriers and provide direction and suggestions as appropriate.
  • Facilitate team and stakeholder project meetings effectively.
  • Act as a liaison for assigned project to ensure effective communication throughout the project to Lead Project Manager, stakeholders, relevant functional areas, and teams.

Reporting

  • Document all project activities and track through appropriate means, often in Microsoft Project.
  • Formulate and provide reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling.
  • Document cost and schedule issues and initiate alternatives which will cause a course correction.

Other

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education-

  • Bachelors Degree in business related discipline.
  • Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education requirement.

Experience-

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience and demonstrated ability to work with multiple projects and ability to work with all kinds of people at every level of the organization.
  • Working knowledge and minimum of three (3) years experience with Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Project, Word, and Excel.
  • Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.

Other Requirements-

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.
  • Experience or knowledge in healthcare or senior living services is strongly preferred.
