SmartStory is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to join our team of dynamic leaders and innovators who are passionate about advancing consumer experiences through technology.

Job Description

The Project Coordinator will primarily be responsible for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of the Project Manager. Specifically responsible for tracking, scheduling, coordination, documentation, and requirements of project assignments.

The Project Coordinator’s activities will include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

  • Work with appropriate teams to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project support.
  • Manage process improvement activities in technical and non-technical program areas.
  • Coordinate on risk discovery and management of projects, especially relating to changes and deployments.
  • Collaborate with others to aid in the resolution of production issues.
  • Manage project timelines and activities in Wrike (project management software).
  • Keep the team informed and up to date on project activities.
  • Calendar and travel management, scheduling and coordinating meetings.
  • Record meetings and note taking.
  • File and asset management. Data entry.
  • Copy and document proofreading.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills, a strong attention to detail, experience with data entry, and able to carefully follow specific repetitive procedures on computer systems. He/she will be a tech-savvy self-starter, who is disciplined, focused and gets satisfaction from task completion. He/she will also be positive, resilient, and professional, able to consistently thrive in a fast-paced environment as a team player willing to do what it takes to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Education and Experience

  • High school graduate with some college (college degree preferred).
  • 1 – 2 years of Data Entry / Administrative or Project Coordination / Management work experience.

System Skills Required

  • Data entry
  • Experience with Apple computer systems (iMac, MacBook Pro, etc)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to learn proprietary software
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus

Details

This is a full-time contract position. Compensation is $15-$20/per hour DOE. Looking to hire someone as soon as possible.
