Project Coordinator

Grant-funded:
The Program Coordinator I will work closely with the PI and Project Director (as applicable) in implementing federally-funded projects. In this capacity, s/he will assist the Project Director in implementing daily research activities, including coordinating meetings, coordinating activities at the study sites, and coordinating protocol-specific trainings. The candidate will serve as a back-up interviewer and conduct follow-up phone calls with survey participants. In addition, the candidate will assist the development of the intervention materials, study questionnaires, and informed consents. The candidate individual may also work with study interventionists to ensure they are adhering to the study intervention manual. The candidate will also assist with IRB submissions, taking minutes, developing weekly/monthly reports for the study investigators and the sponsor. This individual will also assist in the development of presentations, abstracts and manuscripts.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in training, education, and /or experience, plus two years of related experience.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Experience working in research setting and/or demonstrated experience in HIV, substance abuse, social work and/or public health.

The candidate must be willing to travel to Miami, Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Montreal, Quebec to attend study meetings and trainings.

The candidate for this position must be fluent and literate in Spanish.

Essential Functions

Assist in the development of intervention materials, study questionnaires, and assist with literature searches, protocol-specific trainings and publications 25 %
