​ The Programmer/Analyst provides the design, analysis and programming skills required to develop, maintain, and support all business information applications so as to provide the Company with effective business applications systems. The Programmer/Analyst is responsible for developing, configuring, maintaining and enhancing the Companies ERP application (SAP).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Design and Programming

• Collaborate with company customers, staff, IT, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.

• Work with internal and external users to identify opportunities to utilize information systems technology in solving business problems or improving employee productivity.

• Perform functions related to the systems development life cycle for existing and new business applications, including analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging, training, documenting and implementation.

• Develop, maintain and support business application systems, adding enhancements as required to improve functionality and performance. (SAP, EDI, connected/integrated systems, etc.)

Software and User Support

• Act as a technical resource to address and resolve computer related inquiries and problems. Assist in training users to maximize their utilization of the computer hardware and software.

• Perform system administration activities, as required, to support business application software and hardware.

• Perform necessary communications and actions with third party vendors to support business applications

Documentation

• Maintain system and application documentation, including application interfaces, system specific installation, and procedural documentation.

Quality Assurance

• Cooperate with the Quality Assurance Department, in maintaining all aspects of the ISO 9002 quality system and similar quality efforts as they relate to the Information Technology Department.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • A Bachelor’s degree and three plus years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Experience in SAP R/3, BW, CRM, E-Commerce and/or Portals. Preferred Experience includes: SAP Configuration (SD, MM, WM, etc.), Systems integration.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to work in a Windows environment, to work with your department’s business applications and with standard current computer applications.
