Job Description:
Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.

Required Skills:
2+ years of Hands on experience with Running Pig and Hive Queries.

Analyzing data with Hive, Pig and HBase

Data scrubbing and processing with Oozie.

Importing and exporting the data using Sqoop from HDFS to Relational Database systems/mainframe and vice-versa.

Loading data into HDFS.

Developing MapReduce Program to format the data.

Teradata SQL Conversion to Hadoop

5+ years Experience using Core Java or

5+ years Experience in any ETL tools like, Informatica, InfoSphere, TalenD etc.

Experience writing Shell scripts in LINUX.

Must have excellent and in-depth knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, stored Procedures

Must have experience in Software Design Patterns, Best Practices

Experience in analyzing text, streams with emerging Hadoop-based big data, NoSQL.

Must have hands on experience with Large Data Warehouses

Must have 6+ years of development experience in any of the RDBMS like

ORACLE

SYBASE

TERADATA

NETEZZA

MS SQL

Experience developing a batch process

Ability to understand COBOL and Mainframe concepts

Have the zeal to contribute, collaborate and work in a team environment

Must have excellent communication skills
