Programmer – ITS 2

As the Programmer, you will providing programming, analysis and problem resolution for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). You will also thoroughly test and document all programming or procedural changes. This will include preparation of test plans, testing, and modifications based on testing results. There will be ample opportunity for learning and growth in this position, for a dedicated individual seeking to contribute their skills in a large team environment. Promotions will be available based on performance and acceptance of increased responsibilities over a period of time.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:

Position requires a minimum of two (2) years of IT related experience. Experience must include use of COBOL.

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related substitutes for two years of experience, OR related Associate’s substitutes for one year.

**Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification**

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with COBOL, CICS, TSO, JCL, VSAM, PANVALET and IBM mainframe computing

Experience in SAS programming

Knowledge of server based processing
