Full Job DescriptionJob Summary

The College of Pharmacy is seeking a part-time programmer to support two federally funded research projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mobile and web application technologies, and will assist the PI and lead developer with developing new features for current applications, debugging, and testing.


Responsibilities*

  • Develop new features of current applications
  • Write tests to prevent regressions or to prove functionality
  • Debugging code and technical issues
  • Documenting work (i.e. applications, work process, infrastructure.)
  • Required Qualifications*

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field
  • Knowledge/experience using Python, Dart, SQL and JS programming, along with encryption and hashing.
  • Knowledge/experience using Postgres, JSON, Git, Cloud Services and RESTful Web Services. Linux, Mac and Windows environment management.
  • Desired Qualifications*

  • Knowledge/experience with Flutter Framework, Flutter UI design and programming, Google Cloud, Pandas.
