The Programmer Analyst designs, develops and implements software, hardware and applications specific to contact center technology across Customer Service, Sales, Billing and Collections, Field Operations, Product and Marketing business units. The Programmer Analyst is responsible to design, implement, test and deploy projects to fulfill the short and long term technology strategies for the Contact Center Information Systems department under general supervision. The Programmer Analyst is required to fully understand the standard SDLC process and all projects must be delivered in accordance with standards. Additionally, upon completion of the project, the Programmer Analyst must provide the necessary documentation and support to turn over the project to the CCIS support team.

Other responsibilities include: deliver projects on-time, on budget with required business functionality; designs, develops, tests and deploys capital projects; provides estimation of cost for work requests and capital projects; ensures all solutions meet CCIS quality standards. Leading or participating in Design, Architectural, Final and Post Deployment reviews; work with business users and the Business System Analyst to provide guidance on determining a solution that will solve the needs of the Call Centers; provide Level 3 support which includes working with the support team to review logs, configuration, hardware, software, databases, architecture, work with 3rd party vendors or any other troubleshooting that may be required to solve the problem.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline is required
  • Minimum three years’ experience of systems analysis and programming in Java
  • Programming language and operating system expertise consisting of, but not limited to the following; Java, EJB, Web Services, SOAP, EJB, JSF, Weblogic, XML, VXML, Hibernate, JavaScript, Unix/Linux, Unix Shell Scripting, Windows, .NET and ASP
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn Automatic Call Distributor (ACD), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Speech Systems, Predictive Dialer, SIP, and VoIP
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn to develop voice and data applications integrating ACD/IVR with CRM and back-office application systems
  • Experience in application development utilizing a relational database such as Oracle
  • Experience working within a formal methodology for software development. This includes all stages of design, development, and implementation of custom applications as well as the deployment of packaged solutions
  • Experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tier environment
  • Full understanding of project management processes and tasks
  • The ability to successfully implement a solution based on a defined problem or strategic vision to increase revenue and/or improve operational efficiencies is required
