Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities

Programmer Analyst
Provide technical support for Lawson financial systems applications for a university medical system. Design and develop accounts payable, purchasing, materials management, general ledger, asset management and other active modules of Lawson. Serve as primary point of contact for Lawson financial and purchasing modules. Design and develop custom programs, interfaces and reports for these modules to meet business requirements. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial system processes. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications. Design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within the portfolio and service line. Evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests, working with business owners, vendors, and other team members.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or a related field. Five years of experience in job offered, or as an application programmer, software consultant or a related occupational title. Of the 5 years of required experience in the occupation, all 5 years must include experience in performing technical development, maintenance and support for Lawson Financials, Purchasing, and Materials Management modules (AP, GL, AM, RQ, PO, IC, MSCM). Of the 5 years of required experience, all 5 years must include experience in programming in Micro Focus Cobol. Of the 5 years of required experience, all 5 years must include experience in working with Oracle DB, developing SQL scripts and PL/SQL programming. Of the 5 years of required experience, 3 years must include experience in developing Crystal Reports and working with LBI. Demonstrated experience working with Excel add-ins for Lawson and Lawson SmartOffice; and proficiency in using MS Office Products (MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel).

Salary: $120,000/year
