Program Manager – Finance

Overview

St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our Finance team! The Finance Program Manager will support assigned projects, managing the strategy, project plan, and deliverables for successful project completion. We are looking for someone who is a highly skilled analytical individual that can work independently and be a self-starter. The Program Manager should be highly detail oriented; efficient and able to produce accurate work result; possess the ability to maximize productivity and see projects from start to finish.

In this role the Program Manager will work closely with the Revenue cycle teams, building custom reports and troubleshooting and analyzing complex issues related to the Systems Net revenue and Net Accounts Receivable. Routine duties include ongoing analysis of revenue trends by service line & payer classification, diagnosing the relationship between reimbursement rates across accounts receivable insurance payer mixes, and applying the results to estimate an appropriate revenue realization rate in accordance with the new revenue standard under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Program Manager will also apply their findings to establish appropriate allowance rates on accounts receivable based on collectability trends among insurance payers. The Program manager will provide informal and formal updates to middle and executive management on a regular basis, which will require the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms for decision makers.

Required Criteria
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required or 4 years equivalent experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3 years’ Program Management, Finance, Accounting or Revenue Cycle experience

Preferred Criteria
SQL and large database management experience highly preferred
Advanced Excel proficiency is highly preferred
Accounting or finance experience, with a strong Revenue Cycle experience preferred
