JOB DESCRIPTION

The Program Manager (PM) manages all functions of the Computer Based Instructional Design (CBID) II Program. The PM is responsible for leading the development of advanced distributed learning systems. The PM will plan and execute the collaborative development of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and Computer Based Training (CBT). Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progresss of project. The PM is responsible for preparing reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

The PM is responsible for the effective management of funds and accountable for the quality and timely delivery of all contractual items, including those provided by Pinnacle subcontractors. Operates within contractual requirements, limitations, and company business and policy directives. Serves as central point of contact to Government on all program activities. Ensures that all required resources, including manpower, production standards, computer time and facilities are available for program implementation.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Experience with Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) development, desirable, but not required.

2) Understanding Agile and Waterfall development lifecycles is desirable.

3) Highly organized, self-starter, with proven ability to work with technical staff at all levels as their leader

4) Proven track record of completing projects on schedule, within budget, with satisfied customers.

5) Candidates shall have experience leading a diversified team.

6) Possess strong interpersonal and team building skills.

7) Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

8) Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Master’s Degree in related discipline with two years experience or 10 years of related experience; education can be substituted for years of experience

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a secret security clearance
