About the job:

In this role you will be working with dynamic, cross functional teams. You will manage projects for battery gauge, monitor, and protection products. You will also be responsible for RTM on-time, budget on-time, and cost entitlement execution.

As a Program Manager in our organization, you will be responsible for facilitating the development of new products from inception to release to market (mass production). You will be responsible for working with the marketing and systems team(s) in reviewing the business case for new products and identifying resources needed to successfully execute to meet customer schedule requirements. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading cross-functional teams including system, design, validation, test, as well as wafer factories and assembly / test sites; keeping the team focused and on track to project plan; clearly document and communicate project progress to the organization. You will also manage / facilitate factory offloads / transfers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 or more years of program management or related management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to successfully multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize (flexibility in changing priorities and knowing when to change / escalate to management if needed)
  • Well versed and disciplined in proactive risk management / mitigation
  • Clear understanding of silicon design, validation, assembly packaging and test as well as new product development flow
  • Self-motivated
  • Well Organized
  • Passionate about continuous execution improvement
  • Strategic thinker, yet detailed oriented
  • Proficient with MS Project plus ability to build realistic, aggressive schedules, managing critical path tasks
  • Understand qualification processes, work with product engineering to create and execute qual plans
  • Proficient in TI PM tools: Galileo, SMS, ATSS, PCCR, SAP, PCS, ARM3, etc.
  • Excellent documentation skills
